About Us

Braille Scripture was founded in Omaha, Nebraska on January 11th, 2009. Its’ parent company is Accessibility.net, Inc. also doing business as Vision Helpers in Omaha, Nebraska.  Accessibility.net is dedicated to helping persons who are blind and vision impaired.

The idea for Braille Scripture came after Pat Fischer, founder of Accessibility.net painted a special painting with words from the Lord. Before giving the painting away, he made copies for others to see. The response from family, friends, co-workers and total strangers was overwhelming.  Later the idea to emboss in braille the words written was done.

From that one painting came the idea for Braille Scripture.  The small token of love for a fellow Christian has turned into a ministry that will hopefully touch the lives of both sighted and non-sighted individuals world-wide.

And God gets all the glory! Sales generated from this ministry will be used to further enrich the lives of persons with disabilities, personally, financially and spiritually.
